Suspected grenade found at house in Exeter

Police officers and a Royal Navy explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) unit were called to a property in Exeter this afternoon following the discovery of a suspect device.

"This isn't that unusual - police are often called to homes of people who have collected military items."

The units left the property with the items at just after 5.30pm.
